Since that time the business has grown to become a leading specialist in French art nouveau and art deco glass. <BR><BR>The gallery is specialized in “Ecole de Nancy” objects. Glass by Emile Gallé, Daum-Nancy and Charles Schneider. Also furniture by Emile Gallé and Louis Majorelle. <BR>Mrs.Esveld only buys what she likes.First she must fall in love with the object, then the object should have something very special. The criteria are hard to describe, because they differ for each object, but for example it can be color, height, rareness, etc. Quality and beauty, those are the key words. <BR><BR>In 1998 her friend Hetty van Bekkum joined the firm, and from then on they participate in the big fairs, like for example Pan-Amsterdam, Art-fair Den Bosch and Eurantica Brussels. In 2000 their new gallery opened. This is a modern building where the light floods in, so that the customers can examine and look at the objects with natural daylight. Every first weekend of the month the ladies keep an open house weekend. Their latest treasures are shown on these days for the first time.
